Disk space is fine, load is light and less that 30% memory usage.Īny ideas or tips would be appreciated. Its a Centos 5 box with the very latest cpanel current (updated yesterday morning manually). I'm mostly interested in finding the point it failed and if possible why. Also is there any log or trace or something to show me when this "expiration" happened or how I can check any other log to see "refusals" to run functions due to the key being expired. So does anyone have an idea why this would happen. Ftp logs shows nothing weird nor anything with ssh, ssh keys normal, group users normal, no weird new users in passwd, all services are up. Nothing unusual running, nothing extra in "last" command, nothing in various temp file areas. I poked around the machine and looked in the usual file areas and didnt see anything weird. I checked that server twice this morning and had no calls until later.
What I was wondering is what would cause this to happen in the middle of the day?.
I went to the verify website and it shows its active (softlayer dedicated server) and so I ran cpkeyclt and right after that everything seems fine, whm/cpanel/webmail all working. Sure enough I was getting it to and got it going into WHM. A couple of hours ago a customer called me and told me he was getting the license expired message on one of our servers when going into webmail or cpanel.
